Solid State Relay
Carlo Gavazzi offers a comprehensive range of solid state relays featuring direct copper bonding technology for increased life and reliability. Solid State Relays are used extensively in the plastics, packaging, food processing, and HVAC industries - primarily for temperature control. Solid State Relays are the logical replacement for mercury contactors. Other applications include lighting and pump switching. Furthermore, many of our relays feature horsepower ratings making them suitable for controlling motorized dampers in HVAC control systems - where their long life and noise-free switching make them ideal replacements for mechanical contactors.

Motor Controller
Carlo Gavazzi offers a range of motor controllers for soft starting/stopping, dynamic braking, and reversing of three phase squirrel cage motors. Applications include conveyor systems, pumps, compressors, industrial dryers, mixers, automatic doors, palletizers, and fans. The RSE is available with a ramp characteristic suited to starting both compressors and pumps and furthermore, it includes a 'Kick-Start' feature to start loads with a higher break- away torque. Our soft start controllers feature internal bypass relays which eliminate the need for large external heatsinks. This minimizes the space requirements in your panel and also greatly reduces the heat generated.
Three phase soft start/stop controllers up to 40 HP / 600 VAC for mounting onto external heatsinks.
Three phase soft start/stop controllers up to 20 HP (CSA) : 25 HP (UL) for mounting directly onto DIN rail (no external heatsink is required).

Carlo Gavazzi offers a comprehensive range of monitoring controls for monitoring of phase loss, incorrect phase sequence, phase unbalance, over/under current, over/under load, over/under frequency, and over/under voltage.These monitors are used in a wide range of applications for protecting motors against the damaging effects of single phasing and overloads (elevators, compressors, pumps, air conditioning systems, mixing tanks) They are also used extensively for monitoring instrumentation signals (4-20mA, 0-10V), verification of machinery operation, detection of broken heater elements, monitoring of lights in critical areas (runway lights at airports), monitoring of ventilation fans, and in building automation systems.

Timers
Carlo Gavazzi offers a comprehensive range of timers for mounting in the back of or for mounting on the front of panels. Covering most timing functions (on delay timers , interval, off delay timers, one shot, zero speed timers, star-delta, and recycler), our timers are suited for practically every application. Timers are frequently used in motor control centres, packaging machinery, control panels, and process control. Most of our timers also feature a multi-voltage supply which reduces the inventory requirements.

Contactors
Carlo Gavazzi is your source in Canada for Lovato contactors and overload relays. These high quality contactors are available in three or four pole versions with up to 4 auxiliary contacts. They are frequently used for switching motors, heaters, and lighting. With coil voltages up to 600V and contact ratings up to 400 HP (550 Amps), they are suitable for most applications. Complete enclosed or open direct online starters are also available. Overloads can be attached directly or they can be used stand- alone. Reset can be manual or automatic. Overloads are available for single or three phase applications. The three phase types will also detect a single phasing.
3 or 4 pole versions.
